Dr. Dinesh Bhayana
MD CCFP (EM)
Addiction Medicine Physician
Founder, West End Recovery
Dinesh has provided medical care for individuals dealing with substance use disorders in several settings, including hospitals, withdrawal management centres, rehabilitation facilities, and clinics in the community. He has come to understand the spectrum of challenges those struggling with substance use issues and their loved ones face as they navigate the recovery process.
Upon completing medical school in 2010 at the University of Western Ontario, Dr. Bhayana attended the University of Toronto for postgraduate family and emergency medicine training. During his residency at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto, he was fortunate to work with and learn from leading experts in addiction medicine. Since 2013, his practice has included emergency and addiction medicine, allowing him to identify the gaps in care that many individuals encounter.
West End Recovery was founded and launched in 2022 to support improved access to community-based medical and psychological services. The clinic also provides a setting for diverse providers to collaborate, learn, and work with emerging technologies and treatment modalities.
